Amber Paddock, MD
Human Resources Director
Dr. Paddock has been an elected member of Abbott Northwestern Hospitalist Executive Council since 2019 and is currently Human Resources Director. She also co-chairs the Schedule Committee and is part of Abbott Northwestern’s Internal Medicine Residency Program core teaching faculty.
Experience
Dr. Paddock completed medical school at University of Minnesota in 1997. She completed Internal Medicine Residency in 2000 at Hennepin County Medical Center. After residency, she served in the United States Navy as an internal medicine specialists in Japan and California. She joined Abbott Northwestern Hospitalists group in September 2004.

Interests
Dr. Paddock’s interests include care of complex medical patients, educating medical residents and students, and innovating paths to physician career sustainability. Outside of medicine, Dr. Paddock enjoys her human and canine family members, running, and the outdoors.
